I want to know how long one Elysheim is. In clicks, or in ticks, or in anything at all I can count on my fingers and multiply.
My agreement is for a term of one Elysheim. It says so on the front of it and it says so again in the schedule at the back, so it is not one person's pen slipping. I have had the rooms eleven years. In eleven years I have never once needed to know what the word meant and now I do.
It is the floor. There was a leak above the window before my time and it was properly mended, and I want to say that plainly because the mending is not the trouble and the man who did it did it well. But the boards under it went soft and they have stayed soft, and one of them has begun to give at the edge where the light comes in, and I have caught my heel in it twice. A joiner came and looked. He will lift the bay and lay it new for four hundred and ten, and half of that again if he has to take the skirting up, and he will have to take the skirting up, and he told me so himself before I asked.
That is a great deal of money in this house. I will spend it if I am going to be standing on it for a long time. If I am not going to be, I will put a rug over it and stop looking at it, and I will be perfectly all right. That is the whole of the question.

The second is one sheet, printed one side, reading copy, public counter file, sound. It records the amendments to the first, at every revision, and is produced with the first because the first is not legible as a current document without it.
Both are produced complete. This office does not produce a cell. It produces the document the cell is in.
The request asks for the length of the interval. The repository holds the schedule on which the interval is listed. The schedule is produced in full. The column is present.

Any Standard value keyed to the period, mass, or extent of a designation that receives the Concluded flag shall be rebased against an active reference within one galaxal of the closure date. Every value derived from it, at any remove, shall be restated and republished before the rebasing takes effect. A value not rebased within the period lapses and may not be relied upon.
An entry is made in the length column on determination by this Directorate, on the certified requirement of an office needing the interval for conversion. The certificate is a published form, is obtainable at any counter, and carries no fee.

Class I carries no charge. No fee was raised and no receipt was issued. The sum offered at the counter was declined, there being no basis on which it could be taken, and it is not recorded as a payment.
Both items were produced at the counter, read at the counter, and returned to the counter file within the tick. No copy was requested. A copy of either item is class II and is charged by the sheet at the rate posted beside the counter, and the rate was posted on the date of filing.
