The closest thing here to the day job: type Jetpack Compose and watch it render in a phone frame, with no install and no Android Studio. It is an interpreter for a curated slice of the language rather than a Kotlin compiler — that cannot run in a browser — but the state is real, so the counter everyone writes first actually counts.
